What can I get for my boyfriend as a gift when I see him next month for the holiday?
So next month when I go on a cruise for Thanks Giving I will be seeing my bf. I really want to get him a present but Idk what to buy him? Everything he is into is out of season because it is fall now. May it be clothing or activities he likes to do. I want it to be something big a present that will last a while. I was thinking on getting him a fall fragrance, or something like that. Anybody have any great ideas? He does martial arts and so do I. I was thinking on getting him a outfit at the place where I go because they have a store there for martial arts equipment, and clothing. I need suggestions!

About navel rings and physical activity?
I’m a very active guy–I do martial arts (I do arnis–a Philippines martial art that uses sticks), stretching (I’m trying to learn splits), and a lot of weightlifting (I lift heavy). Now, I plan to get a navel ring as soon as I graduate this April. Are there any special precautions which I should take? Should I decrease physical activity or avoid certain ones? I also hold in my tummy to make my waist look slimmer–most of the time. I’m also pretty fond of body-hugging clothing and dancing. Some expert advice? Would appreciate some from athletic people who have navel rings. Thanks a lot!

resources for fashion tips. I would REALLY appreciate help!?
Here’s the deal. I’m looking for ideas and tips for clothing. I tend to be drawn to indie styles. I love indie music, and I like indie clothing, but at the same time don’t fit with the stereotypical indie scene. I LOVE music but can’t play, and enjoy philosophy and art. but I also like sports and train in the martial arts. I want to develop my own style that expresses both areas in my life. I’m looking for somewhat of a moderate indie look, that maintains the somewhat athletic interests, and doesn’t portray me as being the all out artsy and musical type because that’s really not where I am gifted. I would really appreciate any tips and resources with ideas for clothing/hair styles. thanks for your help!

question if any ladies here would approve of this if you were an actress?
below is a webpage showing a pic taken from a scene of my favorite TV show. It shows one of the female characters practicing martial arts on a tree. Now this is a rare image that I see i all of the times I’d seen females do martial arts in a film or show. So I ask any females here, if you were an actress and you had to do martial arts in a scene, would you approve having this kind of image on your scene or would you prefer changing your clothing before you shoot it?

Meeting a new martial artist instructor in a park at night?
I am so happy to learn a new martial arts style! Jujitsu, it’s sort of like wrestling, leg grapples, and stuff like that. Any way, there’s not many people who offer these classes where I live and I found someone who claimed they could teach me! He is a master of Jujitsu and has many students!
I asked where his location was and then he replied that he currently had no location just that he trains in the park and at his house. I thought okay then we can meet at the park, no way am I going to his house just like that. He asked me to meet him at the park for a free lesson to see if I like the style and wanted to enroll into more lessons with him. I figured heck yes! Free lessons? I’m down.
So we were talking just through e-mails and he asked for my picture so he knew what I looked like to not be confused with someone else, so I sent him one of myself and he sent me one of him. I thought that was a bit strange but was happy that he was so handsome, hehe.
Our conversations are kept pretty professional and then there was talk as to when we wanted to meet. I asked for some time in the morning and he said he would not be able to make it at that hour. He was only free at night. 10pm was the earliest. When I asked to do it another day, he claimed he may not be in town and when he returns it would more than likely be the same hours. So I said yes..
I asked for his number to find him at the park and then he asked me to call his so he’d have my number to call when he arrives. I figured alright that’s understandable and then he tells me he’s bringing a friend along, a guy friend to show me some more demonstrations. I asked if I could bring a friend along and he wanted me to go alone because he doesn’t want that friend to disturb my learning experience and he doesn’t want to offer too many free courses..
I asked if there was anything in particular that I needed to wear to be able to try stuff in and he simply said loosely fit clothing. Does this seem alright? Am I just paranoid? Am I stupidly gullible? I have no idea, i’m supposed to see him in a few days. I am very excited for the free lesson in jujitsu and then to get into the martial art but this just seems a tad bit fishy. I mean with all the "at the park" "10pm" "Loose clothing" "alone" "Two fully grown men who claim to know martial arts and a grappling one none the less" (I can’t get away from that i’m barely 5’0 100lbs I don’t think i’d stand a chance.. Opinions?
