Martial Art similar to the UFC (for a 13 year old)?
Hey guys,
I have began to watch martial art shows at a growing rate, which has made me myself want to have such an experience.
I am 13 years old and relatively big for my age (182cm 75kg), and I am really interested in becoming involved with a full contact martial art sport.
I already know that at my age nothing will be able to compare with anything I have seen on TV, and I also know that anything with strikes will involve a lot of safety equipment and training, However I am still interested.
In the past I have spent around two years fighting judo, eventually making it to state tournaments. However I eventually began to break away from the sport.
I am really looking for a sport that involves a lot of stand up fighting (or sparring), however If the sport involves both grapples and stand up then that we be great.
At the moment I have considered Muay Tai and Kick boxing, however I am open to anything.
Also, I live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, so If anyone knows of any clubs around that are then that would be fantastic

I have 3 months to get in better shape, any ideas?
Here’s the situtation: An injury has forced me to take a 3 month break in all my martial arts. Instead of sitting around getting lazy, what can I do to return in better fighting shape than when I left? I don’t have any equipment right now, but I have a bench in storage and 300 pounds of Olympic weights along with that. I also have a great 4 mile woodsy running route around my house and can currently average around 9:00 a mile. Whats the best exercise for a martial artist?

Am I liable for damages done to a property?
I took over a martial arts school that was in building on a verbal agreement. When I took over the school all the equipment and the mats were already there. I am being asked to vacate, when I take the mats up there will be holes in the floor that I did not create. Am I liable for the damage. It was never discussed in our verbal agreement for me to be in the building.

I need somebody that can help me choose which gym equipment to get, tell me how to use it, and help me start.?
I need somebody that could help me and talk me through how to work out.
I need help choosing which gym equipment to get and probably how to use it, I also need help on what workouts I should do, how often I should do it, and how to do them properly. I’d like to get a Treadmill on Craigslist, as well as a Bowflex, if that’s what I should get. I have no idea what I am doing, but would like a serious workout for a fit body, I’m not going to quit 3 months from now, I used to lift some weights, and did a gym for a few weeks… but that’s it. If you have any messengers, that would greatly help, so you could talk me through stuff. Is there anybody that could help me ASAP? Thank you so much!
Also, I am unsure as to which type(s) of martial arts I should do. I’d like to start out with one or two and some type of gymnastics, if you’re able to help me with that stuff too.
I could use a quick run through on how to work on my jogging // sprinting abilities, though I don’t think there’s much other to it than just practice, am I wrong?
I could really use some help!! Thank you so much =)
Sorry that I forgot to add my body type – I’m 5 foot 1, I used to lift 40s, so I have a little bit of definition left from that, I don’t really have much in the way of body fat, I’m looking to build my body, not lose weight.

Mats for martial arts slipping under my feet?
I have mats in the garage that i use for my training. Real martial arts mats are too expensive for me so i got the cheap ones from Walmart that are used for gym equipment. The thing is, when I try something too fast, such as maybe an aerial kick, the mat slips under me. Any suggestions?

What are some extremely intense cardio workouts that require no equipment what so ever?
I need to get into shape, and I have no workout equipment at all. And besides just cardio, what are some hardcore ab workouts that will leave me sore?
I had a martial arts class at school last year, and we did jumping jacks, gut busters (Basically reverse crunches.), running, and other things that we had equipment for.
I can’t do running (we’ve already got snow.) but I just need some intense workouts that will make me sore (it makes me feel accomplished.) that I can do in my room/inside/with no equipment.
Some suggested daily routines would be nice also.
Thank you (:
That I don’t have to buy?
I’m sixteen and have about five dollars to my name. If I were older and had about nintey five more than that, trust me, I’d get those haha.
