So next month when I go on a cruise for Thanks Giving I will be seeing my bf. I really want to get him a present but Idk what to buy him? Everything he is into is out of season because it is fall now. May it be clothing or activities he likes to do. I want it to be something big a present that will last a while. I was thinking on getting him a fall fragrance, or something like that. Anybody have any great ideas? He does martial arts and so do I. I was thinking on getting him a outfit at the place where I go because they have a store there for martial arts equipment, and clothing. I need suggestions!

A bit of an odd question..

In my late teenage years (around age 19) hypothyroidism crept up on me and kicked my ass pretty darn good. I was barely eating a meal a day and yet gained about 70 lbs while losing a ton of muscle mass and general bulk.

After I’d gotten on medication and lost all of that fat, I noticed that I had definitely lost some "bulk" or thickness (and I don’t just mean fat) on my hands/wrists. No doubt because of malnutrition and all that.

It seems to be coming back (very) slowly over the past few years, but I thought I’d check and see if there was any way to accelerate it along.

I know that the muscles for the hand/wrist are located in the forearm, so you can’t just work them out. But say, for example, beating up on punching boards, or other martial arts equipment designed to "toughen up" parts of the body.. would those have any effect?

What exactly *does* make someone’s hands/wrists thicker besides the bone structure? Thicker skin, larger joints, soft tissue…?

I was talking to my neighbor Reggie yesterday after school and checking out the new pitbull mix he juist got and he axed me if I wanted to check out some martial arts equipment he has in his basement. I told him nah man maybe tomorrow cuz I wanted to get back an play on the new Modern Warfare 2 I just got on the XBOX.

Any I am playing MW2 with the volume turned off right cuz my grandma dont like the noise, but I had the window open and I can hear Reggie talking on his cell to some guy. I heard him say that he has a tight lil piece of queer bait coming over tomorrow and hes gon have some fun in the basement with him. I think maybe he was talking about me??

I never heard those words before.. queer bait? What does that mean?

Ok guys I knew this wasn’t a real knife when I posted this. It clearly isn’t. But the reason why I posted this is because I wanted to get this but my mom didn’t trust me and thought it was real or something, so I posted this question to show her it that it wasn’t real. So i belong to this martial arts studio…been there for like a couple of years almost…since the very beginning the owner/main instructor and trainer has been flirting w/ me from day one. Not only is he flirting with me but he’s always socializing with me doing dumb things around me telling dumb jokes playfully teasing me, hitting, and kicking me…he is always way too helpful with me and at times he seems he’s more interested and concerned about my personal life than you’d think someone in his position would be.

We’ve had ups and downs during the time I’ve been here which is odd because you don’t think it would get that personal to have any "difficulties"…and right now things have been going great and although I do like him and would date him if he asked me out..I’m just confused about his behavior.

Lately he’s been extremely playful and silly around me. Last week we were working on brazilian jujitsu techniques (submission wrestling) so we were rolling around wrestling on the ground and it got more playful than professional….and last night we were doing the same thing and at one point i was laying on my back on the mat (ground) and he was kneeling by my feet and it goes like this:

Him: Cross your legs around my waist.
Me: (Giggling) I can’t.
Him: (jokingly)Are you calling me fat?
Me: (Giggling) lol no
Him: (Jokingly) You are!
Me: (Giggling) You said it I didn’t!
Him: (Smiling) Oh yeah!?!?

And then he starts tickling me in the ribs with both hands and the rest of the night it doesn’t matter what we worked on whether it was submission wrestling, kickboxing, or whatever style we were working on that night he kept saying dumb jokes and doing dumb things and I was giggling the entire night.

At the end of the night he gave me some free equipment which he never really does…he usually sells them(because i told him 2 weeks before that my car got stolen with all my martial arts equipment in it).

That was pretty much it. So what do u all think
oh and i forgot im female and he’s male and we’re both over the age of 25

I just downloaded the Sims 3 World Adventures, and when I starting it everything was fine until I received my first adventure in China. My first task was to go learn a martial arts skill by practicing on the martial arts equipment. But when I click on the equipment my sim goes over to it and then is suddenly transported a few away feet from it. It’s really bugging me. Also, I cannot play chess, or work out. When I click on the option nothing happens. It makes the sound but won’t go through. I was just wondering if anyone knows if it could be my computer or the updates or from the new expansion pack. I’ve restarted the game, my computer, and I didn’t save the new game that I started after installing the expansion pack. And I also uninstalled the the game and am reinstalling it again right now… Any other suggestions?
